Part-Time Driver – Cottage Luxe

Location: Raleigh, NC / Triangle Area, NC
Pay: $28 to $30/hour
Minimum Shift: 4 hours

Cottage Luxe is an event rental and design company providing furniture, bars, and décor for weddings and private events across the Triangle. We are seeking a part-time event driver to assist with deliveries and pickups.

Important: This is very limited, seasonal work—typically 10–15 events per year. It is best suited for someone looking for occasional event work, not a regular weekly schedule.

Schedule

  • Most events occur during April–June and September–November

  • Work typically takes place Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday

  • Morning shifts: typically 7:00 AM – Noon (deliveries)

  • Occasional late-night shifts: typically 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM (event pickups)

Responsibilities

  • Drive 22–26 ft box trucks to event venues throughout the Triangle

  • Assist with loading and unloading event rentals

  • Help with basic setup and breakdown of furniture and bars

  • Safely transport items between warehouse and venues

  • Secure loads using tie-downs, straps, and proper packing methods

  • Work alongside the Cottage Luxe event team on-site

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • CDL not required, though it is a plus

  • Comfortable driving 22–26 ft box trucks

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with event setup

  • Familiarity with packing, securing loads, and using straps/tie-downs preferred

  • Must be physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
